The subject matter for this third perpetual Fellowship was an initiative of Ms Irene Lee and is again jointly named. Irene is very interested in the subject of ophthalmology and macular degeneration and eye issues in general. She is also keen to encourage research and innovative developments in this area including the use of stem cells and / or bionic eyes
