Lamington National Park
Churchill Fellow Tony Groom spearheaded the public fundraising drive in 1990 to commemorate the 75th Anniversary of the Lamington National Park to raise money to fund a Churchill Fellowship every four years in perpetuity. His company ‘interNATIONAL PARKtours’ started the fund with notable donations also from Nature Travel Ltd Binna Burra Beechmont and the Lamington Natural History Association Inc of Binna Burra.
