ICOMOS General Assembly 2020
13 Dec 2019
The Winston Churchill Trust is proud to be a Sapphire Patron for the 2020 ICOMOS (International Council on Monuments and Sites), General Assembly, to be held at the International Convention Centre (ICC Sydney) from 1-10 October.
Approximately 1,500 professionals will gather in Sydney from across the globe representing heritage, archaeology, historians, urban planning, architects and academia to gain and share high-calibre specialist knowledge in cultural heritage and conservation work throughout Australia and globally.
The Winston Churchill Trust will be exhibiting at the Heritage Exposition event being held from 6-10 October.
We encourage our Churchill Fellows who are either current or potential ICOMOS members to consider attending this event and potentially support our participation at the Heritage Exposition.
The expo will reach out to a public audience who have a passion for cultural heritage and conservation including Australian ICOMOS members (650+) so it will be a great way to raise awareness of the Churchill Fellowship opportunity and highlight how this award could be a pathway to reconnecting with International delegates they meet during the General Assembly events and symposium.
