Colin Fardon grew his passion for fine furniture making and restoration from a young age, starting with high school work experience with Churchill Fellow and master craftsman Geoffrey Hannah OAM. This exposure to fine craftsmanship turned into 19 years attending Geoffrey's classes, to now running a full-time furniture making and restoration business.
Colin works on a wide range of fine furniture from both public and private collections, with a large focus on hand skills and traditional techniques learned over the past 20 years. His business now largely focusing on the restoration and conservation of important pieces here in Australia.
Over the years Colin has been involved with many arts and furniture exhibitions with his peers. With a few career highlights being - awarded first place at the exhibition of excellence in Grafton, sell out first solo exhibition in Casino and the sale of his first major work at the Lismore Regional Art Gallery which took over 1100 hours to complete and to date is largest sale made by the gallery.
