John Gaffney is passionate about Intelligent Transport Systems and Traffic/Congestion Management. He constantly strives to find more efficient and effective ways to improve the way VicRoads manages its freeways and arterial roads.
John is a Strategic Engineering Advisor Managed Motorways and Network Optimisation at Department of Transport VicRoads. He is a specialist in managed motorways, ITS, traffic theory, road safety, advanced traffic control, traffic science, congestion transport, crash analysis and optimisation of road networks. John has an Engineering Degree from Monash University.
