Patricia Adjei is a Wuthathi, Mabulag Islander and Ghanaian woman from Sydney. Trish is passionate about human rights and justice. Trish has dedicated her career to fighting for the cultural and intellectual property rights of First Nations communities. She is also passionate about visual arts and cultural expression. Trish is currently Head of First Nations arts and culture, with the Australia Council for the Arts. She is a Consultant with the World Intellectual Property Organization and a member of the working group on Beyond Blue’s Reconciliation Action Plan. Trish has a Certificate of Executive Management in Organisational Leadership from the AGSM @ UNSW Business School, a Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice, Law from the College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts and Law from UNSW. In 2018 Trish reviewed and provided advice on Country Road’s first Indigenous Engagement Guidelines, to affirm how the brand can commit to moving forward in partnership with First Nations communities.
