Samantha Evans is passionate about enabling everyone to become a home owner. Samantha holds an Honours Degree in Economics and post-graduate qualifications in Housing Investment and Regeneration.

Samantha spent 20 years delivering and managing large-scale community and social housing in both Australia and the UK as her focus was on providing a housing safety net for all. Over time, Samantha became focussed on pathways for her residents into homeownership and the associated wealth creation and stability that comes from owning your own home.

Samantha is a 2018 Churchill Fellow who found that Australia was positioned to benefit from the well-established expertise and learnings in shared equity provision in the UK and USA to turn the dream of homeownership into reality for more Australians.

Since her Churchill Fellowship, Samantha has transitioned to a new industry and is now an executive at Racing Queensland leading their finance and infrastructure activities across the State.

In 2016, Samantha was honoured with the inaugural Urban Development Institute of Australia (QLD) and Frasers Property Women in Leadership Award, followed by winning the national award in 2017, acknowledging her contribution to the national property industry.
