An experienced sports administrator who has progressed to be a key member of the executive team of the West Australian Football Commission. I have a demonstrated history of working in the Community not for profit sector. I am passionate about innovative and inclusive retention strategies for participants in sport, and the overall benefits that sport provides to the wider community. I lead a diverse team of professionals that oversee the development of the sport across the state. A former teacher and Deputy Principal I am motivated by youth achieving their potential through the development of their areas of interest and passion. My Churchill Fellowship allowed me the opportunity to explore the important notions of unstructured play, the importance of fun, diversionary engagement strategies for at risk youth, the impact of parenting styles on sport retention, and the power of youth advocacy.
