Some 150 Churchill Fellows have gathered learnings from 25 countries to help shape and improve Australia’s legal and judicial system for our nation’s most vulnerable.
For almost 60 years, Churchill Fellows have campaigned for fairer legal processes, easier access to justice, rehabilitation opportunities, and most importantly, greater support for those who are vulnerable or in need.
Many vulnerable groups of people have been the focus of Churchill Fellowships, including: Indigenous people, youth, the elderly, women, children, trauma victims, homeless people, prisoners and ex-prisoners, and community organisations.
