New Sponsored Fellowships to be offered in 2015
12 Jan 2015
We welcome the Queensland Department of the Premier and Cabinet as a new sponsor, who will be offering two Fellowships this year to develop evidence based policy.
The Department of the Premier and Cabinet in Queensland is the agency that deals with the 'bigger picture' aspects of government, providing a broad range of services to the Cabinet, government Ministers, agencies and the community.
As the lead agency in the Queensland Public Service, they work closely with all other agencies to drive the government's key strategies and plans from conception through to implementation with their main aim being to ensure that all Queenslanders receive effective and consistently high quality services.
The Department is offering two Fellowships for the development of evidence based policy proposals that enhance the security, prosperity, liveability or health of Queenslanders along with recommendations which are implementable by the Queensland Government. One will address economic issues, the other will address social issues.
Both Fellowships are offered for Queensland residents who work in policy development areas in the public, private and educational sectors. Applicants should demonstrate an excellent understanding of government policy and a clear research methodology.
