Registrations are now open for the 2026 Churchill Fellowship Information Sessions, with eight category specific online sessions alongside a number of in-person events across Australia.
These sessions are designed to help you understand the Fellowship application process and learn how to back yourself when writing your own proposed Fellowship program.
Each session will also feature a Churchill Fellow, who will share their experiences during the application process and provide first-hand insights into their Fellowship application journey.
A Churchill Fellowship offer Australians a unique opportunity to travel overseas, explore global best practice, and bring new insights back into their work and communities. Open to Australian citizens and permanent residents from all industries, backgrounds and locations, the Fellowships are built on the legacy of Sir Winston Churchill—championing curiosity, open-mindedness, and the belief that knowledge grows when shared.

In-Person Sessions Across Australia
In addition to online sessions, several in-person events will be held in locations including Adelaide, Darwin, Alice Springs, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Launceston, Boonah, Rockhampton and Perth, providing opportunities for face-to-face conversations and local insights.
Applications for the 2026 Churchill Fellowships open on 27 February 2026 and close on 30 April 2026.
Each information session will cover the application process, with participants also hearing directly from a Churchill Fellow as they share insights from their own application journey.
