Churchill Fellows have been celebrated in the 2025 Australia Day Honours list.

The Churchill Trust warmly congratulates each and every Fellow for their distinguished achievement and inspiring service.

Congratulations to Churchill Fellows:

  • Australian Police Medal: Commander Michael Bell APM (WA, 2014)
  • Officer of the Order of Australia: Professor Richard Strugnell AO (VIC, 1984) – For distinguished service to medicine, particularly microbiology, immunology and vaccinology through tertiary education, research and board positions.
  • Australian Fire Service Medal: Robert Conroy AFSM (NSW, 1988)
  • Member of the Order of Australia: Ross Brown AM  (VIC, 1997) – For significant service to wine making industry, and to tourism.
  • Member of the Order of Australia: Rosslyn Monro AM (QLD, 2015) – For significant service social welfare organisations, and to the law.
  • Member of the Order of Australia: Stephen Grieve AM (SA, 2008) – For significant service to architecture, and to arts development through leadership roles.
  • Member of the Order of Australia: Professor Stuart White AM (NSW, 1997) – For significant service to environmental research, to corporate sustainability, and to tertiary education.
