Congratulations to six Churchill Fellows recognised on the 2025 King’s Birthday Honours list.
Emeritus Professor Robert Baines OAM (CF 1979) – Awarded Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the creative arts, particularly as a jeweller, and to education.
Gregory Konrad Toman AFSM (CF 2018) – Awarded Australian Fire Service Medal for distinguished service by members of Australian fire services, both paid and volunteer.
Jeremy Heathcote OAM (CF 2020) – Awarded Medal of the Order of Australia for service to Indigenous community health.
Associate Professor Catherine Margaret Swetenham PSM (CF 2017) – Awarded Medal for Public Service for outstanding public service in end of life care.
Michael Fredrick Morris OAM (CF 2012) – Awarded Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the community through charitable organisations.
Nigel Alexander Miller PSM (CF 2014) – Awarded Medal for Public Service for outstanding public service to child protection litigation in Queensland.
