While genAI holds both opportunities and challenges, it is critical that all Australian graduates are taught how to be ethical and socially responsible users of genAI to complement their innately human skills needed for future work (e.g. critical analysis, creativity, collaboration). If we expect our students to navigate the complex human-machine interactions, we need to upskill the educators who will design a proactive, forward-thinking curriculum. This project addresses a key skill gap for educators. This project explores best practices of AI-informed curricular design at the most innovative global universities to inform a reimagined Australian higher education.
