To study how Indigenous Knowledges can inform and transform Australia’s acute care health system featured image
With a looming global healthcare crisis, Australia’s health system is in urgent need of radical reform. Global Indigenous health systems have long demonstrated great success in not only improving health & wellbeing of their community but also increasing efficiency and access to hospital-based care. This project aims to learn from global Indigenous health systems that provide acute care to inform a health system reform agenda, that not only improves culturally safe care for First Nations people but has the potential to improve the health system for all people.
