ASSOC. PROF. MELANIE WHITE PhD, SFHEA, CF

Dr Melanie White (2013)  is an Associate Professor in Psychology at Queensland University of Technology (QUT), Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, and Churchill Fellow.

Prior to academia, she served in the Queensland Government in policy and research roles focused on education and at-risk youth. Melanie is an internationally recognised expert on cognition, its contribution to health behaviours and their treatment, particularly addictive behaviours.  She was awarded a Churchill Fellowship in 2013 to investigate genetic markers of comorbid substance use in adults with ADHD, and continues research into related areas. She has served on the CFAQ committee since 2017.
