HUMMINGBIRD HOUSE

Hummingbird House is Queensland’s only children’s hospice, specialising in providing care for children likely to die within hours, days, weeks, months or years. The service is led by Dr Fiona Hawthorne (2007). Fiona’s fellowship was in perinatal palliative care. Hummingbird House is a joint initiative between Wesley Mission Queensland and Hummingbird House Foundation, and is proudly supported by the Queensland Government.

Hummingbird House is a place where kids can be kids, families can reconnect, and precious memories can be created.

Given this is a working hospice, numbers are strictly limited.  Max 5 people per tour – reserve your space when you register for the convention.
