Join John Zwar OAM, former Curator of the National Botanic Garden in Lae PNG, Churchill Fellow, instigator of the development of the Australian Arid Lands Botanic Garden at Port Augusta, and 2000 Citizen of the Year for Environmental Community Work, for a walking tour of the historic Adelaide Botanic Gardens.

John will cover the history and role of the Garden, interesting and significant plants and collections, displays, conservatories, Museum of Economic Botany (the only one left in any botanic garden in the world), the recent wetland development, International Rose Garden, Little Sprouts Kitchen Garden and Herbarium (outside only).


Tour will depart from U-City, following Sunday Brunch. Places limited Рmaximum 20 participants.  Wear comfortable, closed toe shoes Р2-3 hours.
