Churchill Fellows - World Bee Day

For over half a century, the Churchill Trust has been empowering Fellows to embark on journeys abroad, including delving into the world of bees, beekeeping, and environmental concerns.

This World Bee Day, we are noting Fellows who are passionate about bees, the champions of our food security. Bees are currently grappling with challenges such as habitat loss and diseases.

This poses a serious threat to crop pollination and the diverse tapestry of life.

As cherished keystone species, bees nurture our climate regulation, air and water purification, soil vitality, and nutrient recycling. The harmony of our ecosystems hangs in the balance without their diligent work and buzzing presence.
