Dr Susan Marsden (SA, 1991) – Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to history and heritage as an author, academic and speaker.
Kathleen Kirby (VIC, 2001) – Member of the Order of Australia for significant service to public administration, and to tertiary education.
Robert James (NT, 2002) – Medal of the Order of Australia for service to the aquaculture industry.
Lieutenant Colonel John Dwyer AM (QLD, 2000) – Medal of the Order of Australia for service to military history organisations.
Professor Donna Cross (WA, 2016) – Medal of the Order of Australia for service to youth mental health and wellbeing.
Robert Shewring (NT, 1987) – Medal of the Order of Australia for service to veterans and their families.
Christine Douglas (NSW, 2001) – Medal of the Order of Australia for service to opera.
