Amanda McCue is a career development professional and has been an advocate for the military community since 2010. Her primary interest lies in the career development of military spouses/partners and in the potential for collective impact amongst international stakeholders.


In addition to working with individual clients, Amanda has conducted a partner employment research project for the Department of Veterans Affairs, and liaised and consulted with Defence, DVA, Defence Families of Australia and other stakeholders from the non-profit and private sectors on the topic of military spouse employment.


She is internationally recognised for her work and has convened two International Military Spouse Employment Summits and presented at Australian and international conferences. In 2022 Amanda was awarded the Prime Minister's Veterans' Employment Program Award for Outstanding Contribution to Veteran and/or Partner Employment.


She is a Professional Member of the Career Development Association of Australia, a member of the National Career Development Association, and a Registered Professional Career Development Practitioner with the Career Industry Council of Australia. 


Amanda has a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Biology, a Master of Studies, a Graduate Certificate in Career Development and is currently studying for a Bachelor of Laws.


She resides in Canberra.
