Anthea is an award-winning theatre & film director. She has been Associate Director at both Belvoir (Sydney) & The Bush Theatre (London). Her production Hir won Best Director & Best Mainstage Production at the Sydney Theatre Awards in 2017. Since Ali Died won Best Cabaret in 2018. Her work has been staged across Australia, the United Kingdom & New Zealand. She specialises in developing & directing new work. Anthea’s short film Safety Net will be presented at this year’s Sydney Film Festival. She was a recipient of Screen Australia Talent+ (Causeway Films - The Babadook, The Nightingale) & Developing the Developer, & Create NSW #shedirects & Screenability programs.
