Ben Trewren is passionate about reinforcing the value of connectivity to youth and building communities of purpose-driven people, through experiential outdoor adventure. Ben is currently the Experiential Learning Manager at Youth Inc. in Adelaide, with a strong interest in adventure-based learning in outdoor environments. Ben is also a 2018 Churchill Fellow, where he explored opportunities for trail destinations to attract and grow world-class 'shared-use' interests. Ben specialises in place and adventure based education, event management, community-driven leadership, program design, training and development and youth-empowerment. He is also qualified to lead Bushwalking, Mountain Biking and Kayaking. At 30 yeas of age, Ben has experience across Not-for-Profit, Political, Education, Outdoor Adventure & Tourism, and Faith sectors. Ben has a Bachelor of Industrial Relations and a Certificate IV in both Outdoor Recreation and Training and Assessment. Ben is currently undertaking a Master of Teaching (Secondary). Ben is excited about collaborating on ways to strengthen community through outdoor-based experiential opportunities.
