Carol Marra is an architect and educator with particular expertise in sustainability and climate adaptation. Trained in the United States, Carol has practiced in North America, Australia and the Asia Pacific region. As director of Marra + Yeh Architects she has worked across the spectrum of cultures in Australia and Asia creating architecture that is highly individual and finely tuned to its environment. Carol has taught sustainable design at Sydney University for over a decade, has delivered talks and lectures locally and internationally, has served on design juries and design review panels. The work of Marra + Yeh Architects has been widely published and awarded. As recipient of a Churchill Fellowship Carol traveled throughout Asia Pacific investigating techniques for climate adaptation in the built environment and has delivered talks on the subject to local and state government as well as industry groups.
