Daile has been a champion for abortion advocacy and access in Australia for many years. As the previous CEO of Children by Choice, she led the campaign to reform abortion legislation in Queensland which saw the decriminalisation of abortion in 2018 and further reforms to Termination of Pregnancy legislation in 2024 resulting in increased access.

With reproductive justice being the driving force behind her advocacy, Daile believes that all people should be able to freely and safely make their own sexual and reproductive health choices without barriers. While abortion is decriminalised across Australia, access to this healthcare varies which disproportionately impacts disadvantaged and marginalised people. Access to compassionate, legal and safe abortion is a human rights issue and this Fellowship will see Daile learn from other countries how to embed those rights and access in Australia.
