Deborah Bower is a Conservation Biologist and head of the Laboratory of Applied Zoology and Ecological Restoration at the University of New England. She has published broadly on the ecology and conservation of freshwater turtles and frogs. Deborah is a Peter Cullen Fellow, Superstar of STEM, and NSW Tall Poppy. She holds a PhD from the Institute for Applied Ecology at the University of Canberra.
