Edrei Stanton, stone mason, is passionate about heritage restoration. For his 2016 Fellowship Edrei travelled to Italy, the United Kingdom and the USA to gain knowledge of historical and current cast stone technology. Edrei's son has continued the tradition, commencing an apprenticeship in stonemasonry with him. His current work includes "The return of the petroglyphs" project he has been commissioned by TMAG and the Tasmanian aboriginal community. Other projects include "The Supreme Court Building" and "Richmond Bridge" restorations.
