Geoff Rowe is passionate about human rights, social justice and inclusion.

Geoff has a Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Queensland. Geoff is the CEO of Aged & Disability Advocacy Australia (ADA Australia) an aged care and disability advocacy and rights service based in Queensland. ADA Australia provides information and advocacy support to some 3,000 people each year to consumers of aged and disability services. Geoff's career in human services spans more than 40 years, with half of his career in senior and executive positions in the Queensland Government and the balance in the NFP sector.

Geoff is an Older Persons Advocacy Network (OPAN) representative on the National Aged Care Alliance (NACA) and a member of the Notifications & Immediate Action Committees of the Medical Board of Australia. In 2018 Geoff was awarded the prestigious Paul Tys Churchill Fellowship to examine world's best practice in preventing and responding to elder abuse in aged care and the community. Since returning to Australia Geoff has used the information gathered in ADA Australia's co-hosting of the 6th National Elder Abuse Conference (NEAC), as well as preparing submissions and appearing as an expert witness to the Royal Commission into Aged Care Quality and Safety (RCACQS). Recommendation 106 of the RCACQS is a direct result of that evidence.
