Grant Wargren featured image

Grant has spent 40 years working across a range of NSW Government Agencies. Much of his work life was spent working in Human Resource Management including as the Manager HR for agencies such as Lidcombe Hospital, NSW Public Trustee, Northern Sydney Institute of TAFE, NSW Department of Community Services and the Director of HR for Sydney Institute of Technology.


In 2003 he changed paths and commenced work in Project and Program Management, leading multimillion-dollar projects related to education based IT systems. He managed the deployment of the first eLearning systems to 1.5 million students and teachers across all public schools and TAFE colleges in NSW and worked on other large projects including the reforming of the way more that 2,200 public schools operate.


In 2010 Grant received a Churchill Fellowship and after his Fellowship was asked to sit on the Churchill Fellowship Education Panel, a role he undertook until he became the NSW Churchill Trust Regional Secretary in 2015, a role he still holds. Grant has also been the Vice President of the NSW Churchill Fellows Association for the past 10 years.
