Jessica is passionate about improving the standard of care for women and babies in Australia and is an advocate for preventing domestic violence in pregnancy. Her dedication to this cause stems from her clinical role as a doctor in women’s health and her voluntary work with the Hornsby Ku-ring-gai Women’s Shelter.

As an early career clinician-researcher, Jessica works full-time as a doctor training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, she holds an academic position as Clinical Associate Lecturer at University of Sydney and is a published author in peer-reviewed journals.

Jessica has presented research on early pregnancy complications at the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists World Congress in London, and was recipient of grants including the Avant Early Career Research grant and the Nemettallah and Kamle Habib Family Scholarship.

Jessica was awarded a full scholarship and graduated from Bachelor of Medical Research at the University of Tasmania with High Distinction. She was named a 2016 New Colombo Plan Scholar. She graduated from Doctor of Medicine (University of Sydney) in 2020 with multiple accolades including placing First in Gynaecology.

Driven by her goal to make Australia a safer place for women and children, Jessica is on a steep trajectory in her contribution to medicine, research, and advocacy.
