Kylee von Ohle is a Detective Senior Sergeant within the South Australia Police. She is passionate about creating and fostering a community where every individual feels safe, and can positively contribute to society. Over the past fifteen years, Kylee has been able to work towards her passions every day as a police officer. She has deliberately sought a range of varied opportunities and postings and until recently was an Investigations Supervisor at Serious and Organised Crime Branch, where for the last four years she has been able to investigate complex criminal matters involving organised crime syndicates and Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs. During this posting, Kylee has seen firsthand the impact of Outlaw Motorcycle Gang activity on the community and their families.

In 2020, Kylee was awarded the Donald Mackay Winston Churchill Fellowship, and undertook her travels in early 2022 following the COVID-19 disruption to international travel.

This Fellowship has provided Kylee with the following, all of which are essential for the global policing of Outlaw Motorcycle Gangs:

• an insight into the current global trends in gang activity,

• discovery of innovative investigation techniques used by other law enforcement agencies,

• expansion of her international network.

Kylee is planning to translate her findings into training for law enforcement as well as an education program to inform the community of the risks associated with gangs.

In addition to fifteen years policing experience, Kylee also holds a Bachelor of Technology (Forensic and Analytical Chemistry) from Flinders University
