Lois Keay-Smith is a Masters qualified career practitioner, career counsellor and Founder of Career Wisdom. She established Career Wisdom in 2005 with a vision to inspire and support those who are seeking more satisfaction and meaning in their working lives.

Lois has experience in career development, career transition and corporate outplacement and has worked with a variety of clients including executives, elite athletes, dancers and professional rugby players, as well as young people with cancer, though her work with Redkite. This work was deeply rewarding, helping young people 15-24 years with their career following a cancer diagnosis. She was especially struck by some of her clients' desires to reinvent themselves and their careers, following their treatment.

This led to Lois applying for a Churchill Fellowship (awarded in 2019) to investigate career services for people over the age of 25, as no dedicated services existed in Australia at that time. Lois has a keen interest in social enterprise and hopes to bring the learnings from the organisations she has visited through a 'virtual Churchill' conducted via Zoom interviews in 2021, to deliver innovative and helpful career support and services for adults with cancer.
