Marina Brizar is passionate about humanitarian issues surrounding forced migration and resettlement options. Marina is an award-winning immigration lawyer and advocate with over eight years’ experience as an immigration lawyer. Marina has a double degree in law and international studies from the University of Technology. Marina was named by the Law Council of Australia as the Young Migration Lawyer of the Year; the Women Lawyers Association as the Woman Lawyer of the Year Up and Coming; and the AFROs 100 Women of Influence. Her vision is for her 2019 research through the Churchill Fellowship for global markets to pen their recruitment to people who have been forcibly displaced, and who have obstacles in accessing international employment opportunities. In so doing, employers gain access to an untapped talent pool to fill skill shortages and diversify their workforce, whilst giving displaced people a second change at a dignified life. Marina is currently the UK Director at Talent Beyond Boundaries.
