A Social Worker and Social Planner with a strong commitment to social justice and evidence-based social intervention, I have had a diverse career spanning management of non-government services and strategic policy and projects for government. I am currently Senior Manager within Social Inclusion, Department of Human Services (South Australia).

I have a longstanding interest in gender equality and the prevention of gendered violence. Between 2018 and 2021, I led a project to strengthen workplace gender equality and respect to prevent violence against women across the South Australian public sector, resulting in White Ribbon reaccreditation of 24 State Government agencies. In 2021, I was appointed Chair of the national group reviewing White Ribbon Australia’s Workplace Accreditation Program Standards. Additionally, I have published peer-reviewed research on gendered violence against street-based sex workers.

I am a mother of three, keen hiker, scrabble nerd and lover of obscure indie rock, as they used to call it in the 90s.
