Since returning to Australia from my Winston Churchill Fellowship, I commenced work as the project manager for the Ethics Olympiad. I lead a global initiative that engages students and teachers in ethical reasoning and dialogue.
My background is that I have over 30 years of experience teaching and developing philosophy, ethics, and religious education programs in excellent Australian schools, universities, and organizations. I taught at Knox Grammar School NSW 1990-1999, Westminster School SA 1999-2007, and Hale School WA 2007-2017. I was also a project manager and research assistant at the University of Western Australia in 2017/2018, and most recently, I have overseen the phenomenal growth and development of the Ethics Olympiad.
I am passionate about promoting critical thinking and ethical awareness among young people and empowering them to become active and responsible citizens. I have received multiple honours and scholarships for my work, including the Winston Churchill Fellowship, an Endeavour Scholarship, and an NGS Scholarship. I have also published articles, conducted seminars, and established partnerships with various institutions and stakeholders across the world, such as the UWA, Oxford University, the American Philosophical Association, and the Australasian Association of Philosophy.
