Peter is a partnership broker and business communicator focused on supply chain traceability and digital trade standards. He is a digital advocate and believes in the power of global data standards to simplify the way we do business, live, work and play. Peter specialises in supply chain traceability systems and is General Manager of Public Policy and Government Engagement at GS1 Australia - the global (NFP) supply chain standards body best known for the ubiquitous barcodes we see on everyday products. He works closely with national industry organisations and interest groups to align government and industry on key themes, including trade modernisation, sustainability and circular economy, food traceability and trust. Peter is an agricultural economist and is actively involved in primary production and product management.
