Homelessness week 2023

This Homelessness Week 2023, from August 7 – 13, Churchill Fellows focus on raising awareness and combatting homelessness in Australia.

On any given night, more than 122,000 people in Australia are experiencing homelessness, with one in seven homeless people being children under 12 (ABS). Australia is experiencing a homelessness crisis that is growing worse, amplified by housing affordability and rising cost of living pressures.

This Homelessness Week from August 7-13, following the theme “It’s time to end homelessness” Churchill Fellows are sharing their latest international findings at a range of forums around Australia, with all levels of government and interested people encouraged to attend.
