On any given night, more than 122,000 people in Australia are experiencing homelessness, with one in seven homeless people being children under 12 (ABS). Australia is experiencing a homelessness crisis that is growing worse, amplified by housing affordability and rising cost of living pressures.
This Homelessness Week from August 7-13, following the theme “It’s time to end homelessness” Churchill Fellows are sharing their latest international findings at a range of forums around Australia, with all levels of government and interested people encouraged to attend.
