Churchill Fellows - World Environment Day 2023

Today, 2023 World Environment Day is focused on the global effort to #BeatPlasticPollution, and leads into Plastic Free July. Together, we can all make a difference.

For almost 60 years, Churchill Fellows have sought innovative ideas to benefit Australia’s environment and climate, including farming, wilderness, and land and sea.

Here is a small selection of Churchill Fellows who have been leading improvements for Australia’s environment. Churchill Fellows have gathered learnings from overseas to help protect, preserve and improve Australia’s environment. From recycling and reusing of materials as diverse as high end batteries, plastics, or even upcycling. Their work extends to preserving and protecting the plants and animals that live in our environment.
