Nicola Raymond

Nicola brings 25 years’ career experience in the UK and Australia. A 2006 Nuffield Farming Scholar from the UK, Nicola was in various project management, communications, and event management roles with Nuffield Australia from 2011-until December 2023.
A farmers’ daughter from Wales, Nicola was formerly the General Manager of the Welsh Meat Company. She has lived in Australia since 2007 and previous roles include Senior Consultant for Currie Communications in Melbourne and Executive Officer of Lucerne Australia, the peak industry body for the lucerne seed industry.
Nicola is passionate about rural affairs and local community and has worked remotely in small, nimble, multi-disciplinary teams with reliance on a volunteer base for over 15 years. She enjoys gardening, hiking and spending time on the Murray River.
