The Auto Skills Australia Churchill Fellowship to study the latest techniques and technologies that form a high-end car restoration featured image

Australia has some highly skilled individuals in the automotive trades, however when it comes to new restoration technology and processes, further education opportunities to learn within Australia are limited. My project aims to gather experience in: 1) 3D modelling and reproduction of bespoke parts; 2) metal work reproduction from CNC to coachwork (including wooden buck design and making); 3) Automotive refinishing on restored cars including the latest paint removal, e coat dipping; new paint technology; 4) the latest car restoration management efficiency/processes in high end car restoration workshops; and 4) the latest paint refinishing techniques/products for automotive restoration
