In partnering with local growers, My Berries processes, washes, dries and freezes second grade soft berry fruits in SE Queensland. Imported frozen fruits typically dominate the Australian market whilst home grown fruit tend to be pureed or juiced as there is little understanding of the best manufacturing techniques for soft berries. With minimal automation, My Berries has begun infiltrating the market by lobbying retailers and manufacturers to switch to Australian grown. Understanding processes and techniques used in other countries will help us become more efficient and improve our manufacturing processes. We are ready to scale up, become more competitive and increase outputs.
