To design and construct next generation hydrogen storage infrastructure featured image
With zero emissions, clean Hydrogen is an excellent multi-purpose energy carrier to mitigate climate change, but must be stored at sub-zero temperatures under extreme pressure. This study mission explores the new technologies and materials to store hydrogen economically and safely by visiting Europe’s largest Hydrogen producing and storage infrastructure in Germany, Europe’s first largest scale underground hydrogen storage infrastructure in France, and leading academics in the USA and France. The mission aligned with “The National Hydrogen Strategy” focused on vast energy sources in Australia for the hydrogen economy to decarbonise our energy market, boost the economy and create new jobs through energy export.
