To gain an international perspective on the work being undertaken in First Nations communities on Mental Health featured image

This project aims to identify how First Nations communities in the United States of America (Hawaii and Arizona), Canada (Toronto and Saskatchewan) and the Maori to address the mental health and suicide issues that are impacting their communities. This project will involve understanding the Holistic social and emotional well-being of the First Nations community and how it impacts the work on mental health and combating suicide within the community. This involves the physical, social, emotional, spiritual and cultural wellness of the individual and their whole community. As mental health and suicides are major issues faced by our community these perspectives will assist in projects in our local area
