Effective Supervision Order offender management is unquantifiable but essential. This high-risk cohort management uses mainly professional judgement, rather than sound risk assessment tools. Research of international jurisdictions will gain effective interchangeable practice knowledge involving:
- Ability to clearly articulate and inform risk using risk tools
- How risk tools are used to focus finite resources managing a continually growing cohort
- Identifying the reoffending bell curve, flattening it with mitigation strategies
- Training of supervision order managers to better identify, assess and manage risk
- How joint partnership strategies are recorded, assigned, monitored and implemented
