Homelessness in Australia disproportionately affects women. Women aged over 55 are the fastest growing homeless demographic in the country. I aim to investigate the financial structures that underpin innovative housing delivery models and apply learnings to improve and diversify the delivery of housing for women in Australia.

I intend to visit innovative housing projects, including those specifically devised to house women and interview stakeholders involved in such projects including government representatives (planning, housing and fiscal policy), financiers, impact investors, housing cooperatives, residents, community housing providers, town planners, architects, urban planners, etc.
