To measure the effects of Project Team in America – learnings for Australia’s implementation. featured image
Project TEAM was in America and was developed to teach individuals with disabilities how to identify their barriers and generate solutions to resolve them. I belong to a project group that is exploring how this intervention can be adapted and implemented for use in Australia. While there has some academic research into this intervention, there have been no studies on how services providers put this intervention into practice. There have also been no studies on the long-term benefit of people who have been involved. For Australia to adopt Project TEAM service providers need to know how to do it, and how it will benefit people with disabilities. This is what I what to understand and contribute to Australia.
