We are pleased to congratulate the 2022 Churchill Fellow recipients from Western Australia (WA), presented to the Governor of WA, His Excellency the Honourable Christopher John Dawson APM. Our new WA Churchill Fellows are investigating a range of issues including children’s books to disrupt prejudice and discrimination, child welfare system design, future water recycling schemes, families/carers in mental health, robotics and tele-rehabilitation in children’s rehabilitation, choral musicians within WA, international truth telling and healing models to build a blueprint for WA, support for health care providers and assisted dying, and pharmacogenomics.
We also congratulate recipients of their Medallions having completed their Fellowship reports:
- Lois Keay-Smith, To help adults navigate their career interruption, career re-invention and work life after cancer
- Griffin Longley, To explore ways children’s unstructured play outdoors is effectively supported in the ‘iPad-era’
