Congratulations to the 2022 ACT Fellows

We are pleased to congratulate the 2022 Churchill Fellow recipients from the ACT, presented to the Governor-General, His Excellency General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd), and Her Excellency Mrs Linda Hurley.

Our new ACT Churchill Fellows are investigating a range of issues including: urban landscape biodiversity, volunteer programs for in-hospital support for families experiencing pregnancy loss, vision and telescopic glasses driving, workforce stability in child protection, and ADHD in adults.

We also congratulate recipients of their Medallions having completed their Fellowship reports:

• Michael McSweeney (NSW 2020), the Blakeney Millar Foundation Churchill Fellowship to study ways of engaging isolated people through local theatre in small communities.
• Robyn Lewis, (ACT 2020), to explore the use of Yoga within Cognitive Stimulation Therapy for people with a diagnosis of mild to moderate dementia.
• Farzana Choudry, (ACT 2020), to empower people facing poverty through social and housing status rights-based models.
